Job Title: Specialty Doctor
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £37,923 to £70,718 per annum
Programmed Activities: 10 PAs
Applications are invited for a specialty grade doctor in Dermatology working in Milton Keynes University Hospital. The post holder will work in a team to deliver high quality care to patients with malignant and benign dermatology conditions. The team includes 1 Locum consultant, an Associate Specialist, locum specialty doctors, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a team of nurses.
Experience in the management of patients with acute and chronic dermatological disorders is essential as well as broad experience in all aspects of the speciality of Dermatology to provide effective and safe management of patients. The post holder must have completed at least 4 years full time postgraduate medical training.
The successful applicant will be involved in delivering outpatient care, reviews of patients on the wards referred with dermatological problems.
• Attendance at weekly Skin Cancer multidisciplinary team meetings
• Weekly supporting professional activities session (SPA)
This post would suit an individual who wishes to pursue a career in Dermatology and requires more experience prior to applying for specialist trainee status or who wishes to pursue a career grade post long term

The successful applicant will be expected to participate in teaching both under and postgraduate students associated with the University of Buckingham and will also be expected to support colleagues doing these activities as part of his or her arranged job plan.
