Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, is a University Teaching Hospital; we conduct research and teaching on site to improve the care of our patients . The hospital is undergoing significant  investment and development including a new surgical ward, a new main entrance (allowing expansion of A&E services),  a new Academic Centre and a planned new Cancer Centre.

This role is based purely in the Maple Unit at Milton Keynes Hospital where over 10,000 people are screened each year for Diabetic Retinopathy and Maculopathy.

As part of this exciting opportunity, you can be part of a growing national programme, playing an essential role in looking after patients with Diabetes as eye screening is an integral aspect of their care.

The successful post holder must be hold the City and Guilds in Diabetic Eye Screening and have recent and relevant experience of both screening and grading.
