Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, is a University Teaching Hospital; we conduct research and teaching on site to improve the care of our patients . The hospital is undergoing significant  investment and development including a new surgical ward, a new main entrance (allowing expansion of A&E services),  a new Academic Centre and a planned new Cancer Centre.

Applications are invited to apply for the post of Specialty Doctor in ENT at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

This post involves working on an on-call rota, so depending on agreement, this post would normally exceed the basic 10 PA full time contract.

The successful applicant will join a highly motivated ENT team in Milton Keynes University Hospital Foundation Trust. He/she will provide a range of services including outpatient clinics, theatre lists, in-patient work and on-call, and will participate in teaching both Under and Postgraduate students associated with the University of Buckingham.

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, was awarded Teaching Hospital status from May 2015. This partnership will create exciting opportunities in the future for all staff in the fields of Clinical Research and Education. This new phase will include opportunities for Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching and enhanced research facilities. A teaching and research background would be highly advantageous, but not essential, when applying for this position.

Located just 50 miles north of London, Milton Keynes has excellent access to the capital whilst being centrally located for Oxford and Cambridge and having ease of access to the north. Lying in attractive countryside, Milton Keynes offers first class facilities for sport, theatre, music, shopping and dining.
